BREAKING NEWS!

RCC Fire and Rescue Training and Lumberton Rescue and EMS will be sponsoring Extrication 2022 on Baronial nineteen-21, 2022 at the Emergency Services Grooming Center. This 24 hour class almost totally hands on using multiple scenarios and unlike types of rescue equipment.  The pb teacher for this class will be Toot Lee with Premier Extrication Several vendors will exist participating and volition be allowing apply of their equipment.  Scenarios volition include use of grip hoists, vehicle stabilization, using heavy wreckers, horse shoe pivot jobs, lifting bags and much more.  Seating volition be limited to 60 students and there will be a registration fee of $50.00 per student. More information will be forthcoming in the next few weeks.

TR H2o Specialty (certification/FIP6404) RCC Emergency Services Preparation Center May 23, 24, 25, 26, and 27, 2022.  Classes get-go at 0800 hrs. each twenty-four hours. This is a 58 hr course presented in block format. Students take to pass skills and written test at the terminate of the course. Pre-registration is required. Burn down Inspector II (certification) RCC Emergency Services Training Middle June xi, 12, 18, 19, 2022.  This is a weekend grade and meets 8a-5p Saturday and Dominicus.  Pre-registration is required.

FAA Function 107 Course for Drone Operations RCC Emergency Services Training Middle June 13, 14, 15, 16, 2022. Class starts at 0830 hrs. each twenty-four hour period. This class will prepare y'all to be a commercial drone pilot and run into FAA Part 107 requirements. If you use a drone for other than hobbyist purposes, you need to encounter the FAA Role 107 rules. Commercial examples would exist search and rescue, damage assessment, and flying over commercial and residential fires.  Successful completion of the grade will give you knowledge to take and pass the 60 question FAA examination.  Pre-registration for this class s required.

Planning Section Primary (certification) Robeson County Emergency Operations Center July 11, 12, xiii, and 14, 2022. Class starts at 0830 hrs. each 24-hour interval.  Students MUST pre-register through NC TERMS to nourish this grade.

NIMS300 (certification) Lumberton Fire Department Central Station July 18, xix and twenty, 2022. Form starts at 0900 hrs. each day.  Pre-registration is required.

NIMS400 (certification) Lumberton Fire Department Key Station July 20, 21, 2022. Class starts at 1pm on the 20th and starts at 0900 hrs. on the 21st. Pre-registration is required.

Online Classes (NEW)

We are proud to start offering the following online classes:

Hazardous Materials Refresher (6 hour credit)

Claret Borne Pathogens (iii hours credit)

Hybrid Vehicles (8 hours credit)

These classes are presented in Moodle. Yous can access Moodle from Quick Links on the main college website folio, world wide web.robeson.edu. Students have to pre-register for the course by using the pre-registration link on our folio. Students will be notified once they are registered.  Educatee are required to apply their RCC e-mail. A link to those instructions is listed below. Courses will exist open up for enrollment for every 45 days. Chancy Materials Refresher and Blood Borne Pathogens Refresher classes are required training for all first responders. Hybrid Vehicles familiarizes the kickoff responder with electrical vehicles, which are becoming more common on the nation'south roadways.  All classes are designed as credits for yearly grooming objectives.
